Fulbright Romania Student Award 2025-26 in the USA

The Fulbright Romania Student Award 2025–2026 provides fully supported opportunities for deserving students to pursue postsecondary education and research at top US universities. Many students who struggle with finances can now study in the US thanks to this grant. It offers networking opportunities, a distinctive educational experience, and chances for cross-cultural engagement. The Fulbright Award has been given to 3400 students in its 76-year history, and its graduates have made important contributions in a variety of professions.   • The cost of tuition and other expenses for university will be covered within predetermined spending limits.
  • Travel expenditures outside of the country will be paid for.
  • There will be a monthly stipend to help with living expenses and housing.

  • Students will receive sponsorship and administration for J-1 visas.

Eligibility:

  • The candidate needs to be a Romanian national.
  • People with dual citizenship (U.S. and Romanian) or those with a green card are not eligible.
  • It is necessary to have a Bachelor’s degree or above.

  • Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree may only apply if they are nearing the end of their undergraduate program.
  • Language proficiency in English is required.
  • Candidates who are interested in law must hold a degree in the relevant discipline.
  • Applications from clinical students are not accepted.
  • Candidates for doctorates must be enrolled in early-stage programs in Romania or Europe at the time of application.
