In honor of “Visit Korea Year 2023-2024,” the Korea Invites U Programme has been introduced by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in association with the Korea Tourism Organisation. For those with a close connection to South Korea, this initiative provides a completely financed trip there. Designed especially for South Korean enthusiasts, it’s a five-day fully compensated trip to South Korea. Interestingly, IELTS is not required.
For non-Korean citizens, there is the Korea Invites U Programme. Participants must fill out an application and submit images and videos that highlight their special South Korean moments in order to be considered. Winners of the Korea Invites U Program will receive the following benefits:
- Participation in a 5-day program featuring a mandatory one-day joint tour and a personalized three-day tour package.
- Round-trip tickets to South Korea.
- Free accommodation during the duration of the program.
- Comprehensive travel insurance coverage.
- Option to bring one additional person along on the trip to Korea, provided they are related to the applicant’s story.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Open to non-Korean nationals currently residing outside of Korea (Korean citizens and residents are not eligible).
- Individuals with meaningful connections to Korea are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants must be available for the trip scheduled from May 20 to May 24, 2024.
