Applications are being accepted for the KDU Global Immersion Programme 2024 and a fully financed summer programme is being offered by Kyungdong University in South Korea. In Korea, this is the only fully supported summer programme for foreign students. Students that are interested in applying for the KDU GIP 2024 are those who are eager to learn about South Korea, explore its culture, acquire the language, and make Korean friends.
Kyungdong University Global organizes and completely funds the yearly KDU Global Immersion Programme (KGIP). Its objective is to bring together hundreds of Korean and international students, promoting cultural exchange, international and Korean networks, and involvement in classes, events, travels, and activities throughout South Korea’s most well-known tourist destinations! Details of the KDU Global Immersion Program 2024 (KDU GIP)
Host Country: South Korea University: KDU Global Program Duration: 4 weeks
Session I: Global Networking and Cultural Immersion
- Duration: July 15 to August 9, 2024 (4 weeks)
- Focuses on establishing networks and cultural exchange
- Activities include Korean language, culture, history, K-Beauty, K-Pop, K-Cuisine, and K-Sports
- Includes tours to popular industrial and cultural sites in Korea
Session II: Global Student Mobility – Academic Semester
- Duration: August 26, 2024, to December 13, 2024 (16 weeks – Fall 2024 Semester)
- International students can enroll in credit-yielding academic courses
- Specializations offered in Business, Computer Science, Korean Studies, and Hospitality
- Exciting field trips throughout Korea
- Community service opportunities and cultural events

Eligibility Criteria:
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at any accredited higher educational institution
- Age should not exceed 35 years
- Demonstrated excellent academic performance records
- Able to meet D-2-8 (short-term study) visa requirements
- Good health
- All international students admitted to the KDU Global Immersion Program 2024 are required to obtain a D-2-8 (Visiting Student) visa from the nearest South Korean Embassy before traveling to Korea.
