Arqus Talent Scholarship in Europe 2024

The Arqus Talent Scholarship is designed to attract and hold on to outstanding postgraduate talent worldwide.

This scholarship program covers the tuition at the student’s first institution as well as living expenses, materials, and health insurance with a monthly subsistence allowance of 1,400.00€.

This article will explain the specifics of this scholarship program, including the requirements, benefits, time frame, and actions you must do to apply.Talented graduates and students hoping to pursue master’s or doctoral degrees at any of the Arqus partner universities—Granada, Graz, Leipzig, Lyon 1, Maynooth, Minho, Padua, Vilnius, and Wroclaw—are the target audience for the Arqus Talent Scholarship. Selected candidates are required to complete mandatory mobility at a second university partner of Arqus.

Candidates with Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees from universities outside the Arqus consortium, where they plan to complete their Master’s or doctorate studies or where they are presently enrolled, will be given preference over refugees/asylum seekers, people with restricted possibilities, and other applicants.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • be accepted into or have submitted an application to one of the Arqus universities’ master’s or doctoral programs.
  • Maintain an ECTS grading system minimum overall/average grade of B.
  • Provide a clear explanation in your motivation statement of how a mobility at a second Arqus university will enhance your academic program.
  • Show that you have a thorough understanding of how to participate in Arqus events and behave as an Arqus Ambassador.
  • Meet the requirements for admission that the partner universities have set.
  • Candidates who are currently receiving state scholarships are welcome to apply and won’t be rejected.

Benefits:

  • Monthly subsistence payment of €1,400.00 to cover living expenses, health insurance, and supplies.
  • payment of tuition for the period of the scholarship at the student’s entering university.
  • Fund for special needs: €250 each month.
  • The scholarship will be awarded to the student for the length of their studies, up to the following maximum periods, provided that the funding period ends on September 30, 2026:
  • Students pursuing master’s degrees: in line with the standard length of the Master’s program they have selected (a maximum of 12, 18, or 24 months).
  • Doctorate students: 36 months is the maximum amount of time.
