The Eira Francis Davies Scholarship, which invites students from disadvantaged nations with remarkable academic accomplishments who wish to pursue studies in the UK, is presently accepting applications. Every year, one outstanding female student is awarded a full tuition fee scholarship by the Eira Francis Davies (EDS) Full Fees Scholarship.
Candidates must be citizens of developing nations, resident in those nations, and intending to enroll in the Faculty of Medicine, Health, and Life Sciences’ postgraduate taught Master’s program.
Previous Eira Francis Davies Scholarship winners have come from all around the world and represented a variety of academic fields.
Eligibility Criteria:
- possess a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2:1 or an equivalent degree.
- have publicly accepted a September 2024 admission offer to study at Swansea University.
- Be a woman.
- Arrive at Swansea University as a freshman in September 2024.
- Provide evidence of their good academic standing, study budget, and enthusiasm for the subject they have chosen at Swansea University in their application.
- Be a national and permanent resident of one of the EFD Eligible Countries that, as of July 1, 2023, the World Bank Country and Lending Groups have classified as “low income” or “lower-middle income.”
- Not be eligible for any additional financial aid from Swansea University, such as a bursary, scholarship, or reduction in tuition.
- Not be a student at Swansea University who is advancing from The College.
