Apply now for the Indo-Pacific Leadership Lab 2024, a program jointly launched by the East-West Centre and the Japan Foundation. This fully funded initiative offers three one-week seminars in the USA, Fiji, and Japan. Open to rising young leaders from diverse sectors such as academia, civil society, non-profit, business, and government, the program aims to deepen leadership practice and increase impact. Participants will engage virtually and in person, with sessions held in Honolulu, Hawai‘i; Suva, Fiji; and Tokyo, Japan. Eligibility Criteria:
- Have five to ten years’ worth of substantial work or research experience in areas relevant to environmental governance, natural resources, adaptation planning, and/or mitigation of climate change.
- fluent in the English language.
- possess a passport that is now valid and expires in March 2026.
- able and willing to set aside a week to visit Japan in September 2025, Fiji in April 2025, and the United States in December 2024.
- Provide evidence of a successful track record of leadership initiatives.
