Applications are now open for the Professional Fellows Program (PFP) 2026 for South and Central Asia, with a focus on Governance and Society. This fully funded five to six-week exchange program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and administered by World Learning. The initiative seeks to strengthen ties between India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and the United States, offering participants the chance to enhance leadership and professional skills, connect with like-minded professionals driving positive change, and deepen their understanding of governance and societal challenges. Eligibility Criteria :
Eligibility: Open to mid-level professionals
Age Requirement: 25–40 years old
Experience: Minimum of two years in one or more of the following areas:
- Governance
- Policymaking
- Public administration
- Journalism
- Civic engagement
- Innovation
- Political processes
Language: Strong English proficiency required
Skills & Qualities:
- Demonstrated leadership potential
- Willingness to engage in cross-cultural exchange
- Commitment to implementing a follow-on project
