World Bank Government Analytics Fellowship Program 2026 | Fully Funded

The World Bank Government Analytics Fellowship is a fully funded program that provides in-person training and hands-on support from senior experts at the World Bank and University College London. It covers travel, accommodation, and living expenses for selected fellows from diverse backgrounds.

This fellowship aims to strengthen public administration by helping governments use data more effectively for decision-making. By bridging the gap between underutilized government data and evidence-based policy, the program equips participants with the tools to drive efficiency and innovation in governance. Drawing from the Government Analytics Handbook and guided by leading academics and practitioners, the fellowship offers advanced knowledge, practical insights, and resources to enhance the capacity of governments in delivering better outcomes for citizens.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • Must be able to travel to Washington, D.C. for in-person training sessions.
  • Nominated by their organization (maximum of 2 fellows per organization).
  • Currently employed in central government organizations, including agencies.
  • Hold a mid-level manager, senior analyst, or equivalent position with authority to lead a government analytics project.
  • Demonstrate prior tertiary-level coursework in statistics or related quantitative fields.
  • Proficient in English.

The World Bank is the host.

Benefits include full sponsorship, living expenses, lodging, and travel costs.

  • Hotel, travel, and subsistence expenses in Washington, D.C. are fully covered by the World Bank.
