Imperial College President Scholarship in UK | Fully Funded 2026

Up to 50 exceptional overseas students will have the opportunity to undertake research under the direction of top-notch supervisors through the Imperial College President’s PhD Scholarships. This esteemed prize supports outstanding students or Master’s graduates who wish to pursue PhD studies at Imperial College London, a top-ten international university known for its brilliance in teaching and research, by covering all tuition costs and providing a sizeable stipend.

There are two steps involved in the choosing process. The Vice-Provost (Research) and Faculty Vice-Deans make up the Imperial College Selection Panel, which evaluates the best applicants after departments consider qualified submissions. Scholarships are given to candidates who show the most promise. Offers are contingent to departmental interviews and final qualifications, and successful candidates receive written confirmation.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • Without regard to nationality, it is open to exceptional candidates from Imperial College London, the UK, and around the world.
  • must have (or be anticipated to acquire) a First-Class UK degree or its equivalent and rank among the top achievers of their undergraduate cohort.
  • Candidates with a stand-alone master’s degree must have earned a distinction or be on track to do so.
  • For eligibility, integrated master’s degrees (such as MEng, MSci, and M.Math) are regarded as undergraduate credentials.
  • If you have more than one independent Master’s degree, you must have a distinction in the one that is most pertinent to your intended PhD.
  • Holders of degrees from other countries should verify that they meet UK requirements.
  • Before applying, candidates must obtain approval from an Imperial supervisor.
  • Current Imperial PhD students are not eligible to apply; only new PhD applicants are.

The United Kingdom (UK) is the host nation.

All countries are eligible.

Award: Complete Scholarship | £25,150 annually

IELTS is not necessary.
