- must possess an MSc in environmental science, economics, or a closely connected field.
- preferred area of expertise in marine policy, natural resource economics, or environmental economics.
- demonstrated proficiency with quantitative research techniques like data science, econometrics, and spatial analysis.
- familiarity with managing huge datasets and geographic data.
- strong interest in energy transitions, renewable energy, and maritime sustainability.
- outstanding writing and verbal communication skills in English.
- Although learning Dutch is not necessary, it is preferred.
