ADB Young Professional Program 2026 (ADB YPP) (Fully Funded)

Applications for the ADB Young Professionals Program (YPP) are now being accepted. Offering a 3-year fixed-term appointment at ADB headquarters in Manila, Philippines, as well as other duty sites where ADB operates, this esteemed entry-level career program at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is available.

The program is intended to help students and graduates develop their professional abilities and get a thorough understanding of ADB’s policies, processes, and operations. It aims to draw in exceptionally skilled applicants who are considering a career in international development.

Since both programs give young professionals a solid foundation for starting successful international careers, the ADB YPP and the World Bank Group Young Professionals Program are frequently compared.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • Citizens of ADB member nations are eligible nationalities.
  • A bachelor’s degree is the minimum educational requirement.
  • Economics, finance, business administration, engineering, the environment, law, social sciences, public policy, or similar fields are preferred topics of study.
  • Postgraduate Qualification: It is preferred to have a Master’s degree or its equivalent.
  • Professional Experience: Three years or more of relevant job experience, including internships.
  • Relevant Background: It is advantageous to have prior experience with ADB’s operations.
  • Age Requirement: Candidates must be less than 32 when they join ADB.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English is a language requirement.

Workplace: ADB Headquarters in the Philippines and additional ADB duty locations

Level of Position: IS 1

Duration of Contract: 3 years (fixed-term)

Language Exam: IELTS is not necessary
