With pride, the University of Toronto presents the Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) Scholarship for the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program 2026–2027. This esteemed PhD program, which was started in partnership with the Africa Health Collaborative, is currently accepting applications. Eligibility Criteria :
- must currently reside in and be a citizen of a nation in Sub-Saharan Africa.
- must have earned a degree from one of the Africa Health Collaborative’s partner schools (see list provided).
- should not have started doctorate coursework before applying.
- During undergraduate and graduate degrees, one must exhibit both great academic achievement and leadership abilities.
- must fulfill the prerequisites for academic admission to the aforementioned sponsored graduate program.
- should demonstrate a definite intention to return home for the program’s last two years in order to support the social and economic advancement of Africa.
