2024 Government of Denmark Scholarship at SDU (Southern Denmark University) | How to Apply

For full-time overseas students starting their studies at Southern Denmark University, the Government of Denmark Scholarship is offered in collaboration with the university. For the length of your Master’s study at SDU, you will be fully compensated for tuition as the 2024 Government of Denmark Scholarship recipient.

In recognition of the important contributions that overseas students make to their education, the University of Southern Denmark offers various scholarships to highly qualified applicants through the Government of Denmark Scholarship program.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Apply internationally, excluding the EU and EEA
  • Enroll in Sønderborg’s Master’s programs listed below:
  • MSc in Mechatronics Engineering
  • MSc in Electronics Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering MSc in Engineering
  • Even if you currently hold a Danish resident visa, you must submit your application for entry by February 1.
  • Make sure that, at the time of submission, your application contains all necessary supporting material (SDU shouldn’t have to ask for extra copies).

Benefits:

Either a complete or partial tuition fee waiver is given out as part of the scholarship:

  • The cost of tuition is waived in full for a two-year period (four semesters).
  • The second and fourth semesters of the tuition cost are covered by a partial tuition fee waiver.
