For all chosen scholars, the 2026 program includes complete tuition, a monthly stipend, relocation expenses, and travel reimbursements. Eligibility Criteria :

  • Candidates must submit an application to a master’s or doctoral program at Washington University that is eligible.
  • The McDonnell International Scholars Academy application and the graduate degree application are two different processes that candidates must submit separately.
  • By the end of the 2025–2026 academic year (July 2026), applicants must have obtained or intend to earn a bachelor’s degree (or above).
  • Undergraduate studies are not supported by the grant.
  • All nations are welcome to submit applications.
  • International graduate candidates with degrees from one of the Academy’s Partner Universities are given preference.

The United States (USA) is the host nation.
