For professionals from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), the Harvard LEAD Fellows Program 2026–2027 offers a fully financed one-year fellowship in the United States. For chosen participants, it covers flights, meals, lodging, visa expenses, and a stipend. The program will take place at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2027. The Fall semester will be conducted digitally, while the Spring semester will be held in person. The six-week in-person component is planned for April 2027. The fellowship provides academic instruction, networking opportunities, and mentorship with a focus on global health and leadership development. Eligibility Criteria :
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in a related discipline is required.
- must be working full-time in the field of global health at the moment.
- A minimum of ten years of professional experience is required; work completed while still a student is not included.
- must have a mentor or advocate in their organization who can serve as a reference, as well as the complete backing of their employer.
- During the six-week in-residence program in April 2027, they must be able to take a leave of absence (or something similar) from their home institution.
- During the in-person session, you must be able to live in Boston, Massachusetts.
- It is necessary to self-nominate using an application.
