One of the most beautiful and energetic cities in the world, Cape Town, South Africa, will host the One Young World Summit 2026. Cape Town, which is well-known for its lovely climate and stunning sites including Table Mountain, Robben Island, Chapman’s Peak Drive, and the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, provides an exciting setting for international cooperation. The NewNow One Young World Summit 2026, which supports young leaders tackling global issues through creative and sustainable solutions, is currently accepting applications. Over 2,000 up-and-coming leaders from over 190 nations will come together for the summit, which is scheduled for November 3–6, 2026, to network, share ideas, and promote significant global change. Eligibility Criteria :
- must be between the ages of 18 and 30.
- must be a citizen of a Global South nation (see Google’s list of Global South nations).
- should have a track record of successfully spearheading initiatives that brought about significant change.
- must exhibit knowledge of important regional and international issues, especially those that call for intricately linked solutions.
- should be familiar with using systems-thinking techniques to create creative and long-lasting solutions.
- must be able to demonstrate how using systems thinking can have a beneficial social impact.
- ought to be dedicated to creating a more just and equal world.
- Young leaders must be enthusiastic in working together and exchanging insights.
