Talented master’s and PhD candidates in the biological sciences, biophysics, and medicine are encouraged to apply for a distinguished one-year, fully supported research internship in the United States through the BioLAB 2026 Program. The program, which is run by the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission, encourages academic excellence and offers practical research experience at prestigious American universities. More than 600 alumni have benefited from BioLAB’s assistance in developing their academic and scientific careers since its founding. Numerous graduates have pursued further education at prestigious universities like Oxford University, the Max Planck Institute, and ETH Zürich. At one of four host institutions—the University of Virginia, the University of Chicago, the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, or the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation—selected students will carry out autonomous research under the guidance of experts. In addition to participating in state-of-the-art research, working with scientists from around the world, and experiencing American academic and cultural life, participants will have the chance to publish their work in prestigious journals.

Eligibility Criteria:
- A master’s or PhD program in biological sciences, biophysics, or medical studies (such as biology, pharmacy, or biotechnology) must be ongoing in Poland.
- A bachelor’s degree or a comparable credential, such as a license, is required.
- should continue to have a solid academic record, with a GPA of at least 4.0.
- must exhibit at least a B2 level of English language skills.

- A Polish undergraduate degree is required for international applicants to the program.
