US Government TechGirls Summer Exchange Program | Fully Funded

The goal of the U.S.-based TechGirls Summer Exchange Program is to empower young women globally by assisting them in pursuing further education and professions in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) disciplines. In order to promote professional development, the program offers mentorship and practical skill training.

The U.S. Department of State provides full funding for the program, which includes travel, lodging, living stipends, a visa, food, and medical treatment. With an initial focus on the Middle East and North Africa, TechGirls has taught and mentored 653 teenage girls since 2012.

The program grew internationally in 2022, with participants from all six regions of the world. In collaboration with Virginia Tech, the core 24-day U.S. experience includes an interactive TechCamp that explores cutting-edge technology and STEM career prospects.
