International students are encouraged to apply for fully supported scholarships at China’s top agricultural research institution, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), for Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, General Scholar, and Senior Scholar programs. Full tuition, on-campus housing, health insurance, and an annual living stipend of ¥42,000 are all covered by the CAAS Scholarship. There are opportunities at more than thirty specialized research institutes. The Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS), Beijing Government Scholarship (BGS), GSCAAS internal scholarships, and GSCAAS-OWSD Fellowship are among the various programs that provide funding. Comprehensive financial assistance, research possibilities, and academic instruction in agriculture and allied disciplines are provided to chosen students.

- A general scholar must be under 45 years old and have completed at least two years of college study.
- Senior Scholar: Be under 50 years old, hold a Master’s degree or above, or be an associate professor or above.
- Show that you are fluent in either Chinese or English.
