Outstanding international academics and students are encouraged to apply for the China Link Program at Hainan University in China in order to take part in research and academic exchange activities. A fully financed Chinese Government Scholarship, which includes complete tuition, housing, health insurance, and a monthly stipend of CNY 3,500, will be awarded to successful applicants. The Hainan Provincial Government Scholarship and the Chinese Government Scholarship both support this chance. The program’s objectives are to increase international research collaboration, develop academic cooperation, and advance mutual understanding between Chinese and foreign youth. Qualified foreign students and teachers who wish to pursue research and academic engagement in China are welcome to apply.
Eligibility Criteria :
- must not be a citizen of China.
- In both physical and mental well-being
- Maintain a solid academic record and behavior
- must respect Chinese culture and abide with Chinese laws and university regulations.
- must fulfill China’s rules for entry and departure.
Age restriction:
- Younger than 45 (general scholars)
- Senior scholars under 50
Language prerequisites:
- Programs taught in Chinese: HSK Level 4 (minimum score of 180)
Programs taught in English:
- TOEFL 78 (iBT) or 560 (PBT), or
- IELTS score of 6.0 or higher
- Applicants from English-speaking nations are exempt from the English test requirement.
