The scholarships, which are run by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, pay for living expenses, tuition, return travel, and other study-related expenses. Academic achievement, work experience, leadership potential, and alignment with development objectives are the criteria used for selection. Interviews, written responses, and an online application are all required of applicants.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Applicants must sign a contract with the Commonwealth of Australia agreeing to the terms and conditions of the Australia Awards Scholarship before acceptance.
- Scholarship recipients are required to spend a minimum of two years outside Australia after completing their studies.
- Failure to comply with this requirement will obligate the recipient to repay the full scholarship amount.
