The 2026 Leventis Foundation Agricultural Training Program is currently accepting applications from eligible Nigerian applicants. Young men and women who are enthusiastic about professions in farming and agriculture are the target audience for this fully funded, one-year program. Full scholarships for tuition, board, and food are awarded to successful participants. The program’s goal is to produce generations of knowledgeable, pragmatic farmers who will advance agricultural development and enhance local food systems. The Leventis Foundation and state governments jointly support the program, which is available to both male and female candidates at six agricultural institutions in Nigeria, including FCT, Osun, Kano, and Gombe. The Foundation has been a national leader in agricultural education and training since 1987.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Maintain physical fitness.
- English reading and writing proficiency (proof of at least a high school diploma may be needed).
- between the ages of 18 and 40.
- Before being chosen, pass the written and oral exams.
- should exhibit a discernible interest in farming.
- Evidence of a farming background is advantageous.
