Professionals from developing nations can enhance their knowledge of maritime affairs, international law, and sustainable development through the nine-month, fully funded United Nations Nippon Foundation Fellowship 2026. The fellowship, which is sponsored by the Nippon Foundation of Japan and supported by the UN, gives participants the information and abilities they need to make a significant contribution to world development.
Advanced research at partner institutions throughout the world and a placement at UN Headquarters in New York are two of the program’s concurrent phases.
