Global Minority Rights Summer School 2026 Hungary (Fully Funded)

The fully sponsored international program, the Global Minority Rights Summer School 2026, is currently accepting applications from participants worldwide. The Ludovika University of Public Service in Budapest, Hungary, will host this six-day summer program from July 5 to 10, 2026.

IELTS is not necessary, and there is no application fee. “Self-Determination and Minority Rights” is the theme for 2026. With a particular emphasis on minority rights and the international legal frameworks that safeguard them, the program seeks to investigate important topics pertaining to minority cultural rights and diversity.

Objectives

Eligibility Criteria:

  • All nationalities are welcome to apply.
  • Students pursuing master’s and doctoral degrees looking for opportunities in academia or practice
  • Journalists, academics, public officials, and legislators with an interest in international law, diversity, equality, and minority rights
  • Members of minority rights groups, civil society, and other practitioners
  • Those with an interest in contemporary theories, recent advancements, and advanced training in the defense of minority rights
  • English language proficiency is necessary.
