UNODA Youth Biosecurity Fellowship 2026 Switzerland (Fully Funded)

Are you prepared to take part in a five-day youth forum in Geneva, Switzerland, that is fully funded? The UNODA Youth Biosecurity Fellowship 2026 in Switzerland is now accepting applications. The United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA) is the organizer of this fully funded fellowship, which is intended to assist young leaders with an interest in global diplomacy and biosecurity.

The program starts with three months of interactive meetings and online workshops on international diplomacy, disarmament, and biosecurity. Twenty chosen participants will go to Geneva, Switzerland, for an in-person field visit from August 17 to 21, 2026, after the virtual component.

By enhancing their comprehension of global disarmament initiatives and biosecurity concerns, the fellowship seeks to involve, inform, and empower young leaders. IELTS is not necessary to apply, and there is no application fee. More information is given below.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must not be older than 35 at the time of application.
  • must be a citizen of one of the nations listed on the program’s official eligibility list.
  • should be a graduate of an accredited university or institution with a master’s degree or above in the life sciences or a closely related field.
  • In rare circumstances, applicants with a social science background who show a keen interest in biosecurity may be taken into consideration.
  • Additional requirements must be met for undergraduate students to be eligible to apply.
  • In order to advance gender parity and diversity in the biosecurity industry, female applicants are especially urged to apply.
