MOFA Taiwan Fellowship 2027 (Fully Funded)

Are you a foreign academic looking for a fully sponsored study opportunity in Taiwan? The Ministry of Overseas Affairs (Taiwan) created the esteemed MOFA Taiwan Fellowship program to assist overseas specialists and scholars in carrying out advanced studies at Taiwanese universities and research centers.

The fellowship is one of the most prestigious research programs in Asia, having accepted more than 1,500 academics from 93 countries since its founding.

The fellowship gives foreign academics, researchers, and PhD students the opportunity to conduct studies in areas such as Sinology, Chinese studies, Taiwan studies, cross-strait relations, and Asia-Pacific regional studies.

The program also provides funding for the Chinese Taipei APEC Fellowship, which allots 12 fellowship spots each year to academics from developing APEC economies.

International academics have a fantastic opportunity to perform high-level research in Taiwan with full financial support through the MOFA Taiwan Fellowship 2027.
