Malaysian International Scholarship (MIS) in Malaysia | Fully Funded 2025–26

The fully funded Malaysian International Scholarship (MIS) 2025–2026 is now accepting applications. This scholarship encourages gifted foreign students to enroll in prestigious Malaysian universities to pursue master’s and doctoral degrees. The MIS seeks to promote Malaysia as a center of intellectual achievement while luring, inspiring, and retaining talent from throughout the world. Applications are sought from candidates with a variety of academic and extracurricular experiences. The scholarship offers the chance to receive a top-notch education in Malaysia by covering living expenses, tuition, and other costs. Students who enroll at MIS have access to top-notch courses, research opportunities, and Malaysia’s diverse cultural and international milieu, all of which promote their academic and personal development.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • Maximum age: 45 for PhD candidates and 40 for Master’s candidates
  • Applicants for master’s degrees must have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or a Second Class Upper (Honors) in their bachelor’s degree.
  • A minimum CGPA of 3.5 or comparable “very good” performance at the Master’s level in a related discipline is required of PhD candidates.
  • Send in a written proposal that is at least 1,000 words long and pertinent to the targeted subject of research.
  • Use an IELTS or TOEFL score to demonstrate your command of the English language.
