Applications are now being accepted for the Zayed Sustainability Prize 2027 award ceremony, which will take place in January 2027 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The prize is a flagship program of the UAE government that recognizes leaders and innovators who are making significant contributions to a sustainable future.
Health, Food, Energy, Water, Climate Action, and Global High Schools are among the categories in which awards are given out. Support for lodging, local transportation, and foreign flights will be provided to finalists during the award ceremony. Significant prize money will also be awarded to the winners. Applications for the program are free and open to people of all nationalities.
Eligibility Criteria :
Inventiveness (40%)
- The solution should either present a novel concept or greatly enhance current methods.

- Give proof of market adoption, either now or in the future.
Effect (30%)
- Demonstrate a quantifiable improvement in life quality.
- Take on significant environmental, technological, societal, or economic issues.
- Exhibit capable leadership, efficient governance, and organizational resilience.
- Adhere to just and open policies.
- Provide a detailed plan outlining the efficient use of the award money.
Motivation (30%)
- Embody the values of human growth and sustainability that Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan promoted.
- Promote community involvement and sustainable projects.
- Encourage others to embrace sustainable and ecologically conscious behaviors.
