Prepare to submit your application for a fully sponsored internship in Europe! The European Commission’s esteemed EC Blue Book Traineeship 2026 (October intake) is currently accepting applications. Talented individuals from all over the world can apply for about 100 paid traineeships each year.

The goal of the five-month traineeship is to give participants real-world, hands-on experience in EU administration, institutional procedures, and policymaking. It enables participants to collaborate closely with experts, participate in actual projects, and get insight into the creation and execution of European policy.

Along with obtaining foreign job experience in a multicultural setting, trainees will also improve their research, communication, and analytical skills. Graduates who wish to pursue careers in public policy, international organizations, or European issues will particularly benefit from this curriculum.

The European Commission’s offices in Belgium and Luxembourg host the EC Blue Book Traineeship. Candidates of all nationalities and academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply, and there is no age restriction.

The option to live and work in Europe is financially supported, since trainees also get a monthly allowance.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • All EU citizens are eligible to apply for the EC Blue Book Traineeship.
  • There are also a few spots available for non-EU applicants.
  • A minimum of three years of higher education must be completed by applicants.
  • Proficiency in English is necessary.
  • Test results from the TOEFL or IELTS are not necessary.
