The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers a fully financed in-country/in-region fellowship at FUNAAB (Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta). The initiative offers African students Master’s scholarships in Physics in collaboration with FUNAAB.
This program is a component of DAAD’s larger In-Country/In-Region program, which aims to promote sustainable development and enhance internationally focused higher education systems in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The scholarships are given to individuals who intend to pursue careers in teaching and/or research at Sub-Saharan African universities for master’s degrees relevant to development.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Candidates are not eligible if they do not have a first academic degree with a completed three-year university program and above-average performance (minimum Second Class Upper Division or equivalent).
- Strong motivation and dedication must be shown.
- must be proficient in the teaching language.
- At the time of application, the applicant must be a citizen or permanent resident of a Sub-Saharan African nation and have earned their most recent degree within the previous six years.
