The United Nations SDG Action Campaign SDG Action Awards 2026 are now accepting applications. These awards honor exceptional people, teams, and institutions who are advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) locally, nationally, and internationally via audacious and creative initiatives.
This international effort, which is run by the United Nations SDG Action Campaign, showcases changemakers—often referred to as the “Heroes of Tomorrow”—who are making a significant impact via innovation, leadership, and community involvement. The awards are intended to encourage others, magnify significant projects, and raise awareness of sustainable development activities worldwide.
International recognition, worldwide visibility, and networking opportunities with development professionals, activists, and policymakers will be provided to the finalists. Finalists are asked to visit and present their work at the prize ceremony, which will be held in Rome on October 29, 2026.
In order to take part in the ceremony and network with a worldwide community dedicated to creating a more sustainable and inclusive future, winners will get an all-expenses-paid trip to Italy.
