At McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana, one M.S. Graduate Research Assistantship will start in August 2026 with the goal of examining how amphibian communities react to intense habitat management. Both domestic and foreign students with a BSc in biology, wildlife science, natural resource conservation, or a closely connected topic are eligible for the role. The chosen student will use trapping, call surveys, and monitoring methods, along with some night and light-rain fieldwork, to perform field research on pond-breeding amphibians in Southwest Louisiana.
Eligibility Criteria :

- A strong work ethic and self-motivation are essential, as is the ability to manage harsh field circumstances like high temperatures, humidity, and insects.
