  • Fieldwork: Students pursuing a PhD may petition to keep their usual maintenance stipend while conducting fieldwork; other fieldwork costs should be reimbursed by the University Composition Fee.
  • Funding for maternity and paternity leave allows students to request a six-month study break while continuing receiving their maintenance stipend, if needed.
  • Funding for hardship is given in case the scholar encounters unanticipated difficulties.
