The Asia and Europe Foundation (ASEF) is currently accepting applications for its 14th ASEF Journalists Seminar, which will take place in Hungary in 2024. Journalists from 51 ASEM partner nations are welcome to apply for this fully supported opportunity. The goal of the biennial ASEFJS program is to foster media networks and mutual understanding by bringing together journalists from Asia and Europe. ASEF will pay for the whole cost of the seminar, which is slated to take place in Hungary from September 9–12, 2024. In addition to supporting Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16, this event provides a forum for media professionals from Asia and Europe to build relationships and networks. Seminar Duration: The workshop will be conducted from 9 to 12 September 2024.
Eligibility Criteria:
- must be a citizen of one of the 51 ASEM member nations.
- ought to have two years or more of experience in journalism.
- The minimum age should be under 35.
- It is necessary to speak English fluently.
- Has to be in excellent health.
- It is required that attendees be willing to engage fully in the session.
Benefits:
- For successful applicants in Hungary, ASEF and the Danube Institute in Budapest will pay the following costs: Seminar fees, which include lecture fees, administrative fees, and course materials.
- There will be lodging available for the duration of the training.
- Additionally, the applicant’s return travel to Hungary from their home country will be paid for.
