The New Southbound Policy TMU Elite Short-Term Exchange Program in Taiwan for 2024 is currently accepting applications. This fully funded, five-month exchange program is intended for students who are planning their futures in Taiwan and are pursuing jobs in healthcare at Taipei Medical University (TMU). Twenty participants will be chosen for this year’s program, which will start in the fall of 2024 and run from September 2024 to January 2025.

An NTD 8,000 monthly stipend, direct round-trip economy class flights, lodging, all course costs, and program activities are all included in the all-inclusive experience that participants will have. Eligibility Criteria:

  • Eligible Countries: Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Australia, or New Zealand.
  • Requirements: Strong foundation in biological science, medical-related subjects, laboratory work, data analysis, and laboratory work is required.
  • getting a bachelor’s degree completed.
  • Evidence of financial resources totaling one thousand dollars or more.
  • Evidence of Language Proficiency in English:
  • 600 for TOEIC
  • TOEFL: 45, PTE: 36, CELPIP: 5, and IELTS: 5
