The goal of the Midwestern Oil and Gas Scholarship is to support youngsters in Delta State and our host communities in their pursuit of academic excellence and improved skill-based education. Every year, N150,000 is awarded as part of the Midwestern Oil and Gas University Scholarship to help qualified Nigerian students further their education and professions.

Nigerian students who meet the requirements are invited to apply for the Midwestern Oil and Gas Scholarship Program for 2024.
Since starting operations, the Umusadege Field operator in OML 56, Delta State, Midwestern Oil & Gas Company Limited, and its joint venture partner, SunTrust Oil Company Nigeria Limited, have carried out a number of projects to promote long-term development for the people living in its host communities and Delta State. The main goal of these programs is to advance economic development by investing in human capital.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Available to students in grades 100 and 200 at the time of application.
- A minimum of five credits, including English and math, must be earned in one session for the SSCE or GCE.
- JAMB/UTME results and a letter of admission from a Nigerian university that has been authorized or accredited.
- provide ID card from the university.
- Identity document attested to by the Community Accredited Contact-men Committee (CAC) or the Ward Councillor.
