The Ireland Fellows Program seeks to develop future leaders, strengthen domestic ability to meet national SDG targets, and promote goodwill toward Ireland.

Early- to mid-career professionals from qualified nations who possess leadership potential can now pursue a distinguished, top-notch education in Ireland thanks to the Ireland Fellows Program. A completely financed one-year master’s program at a higher education institution (HEI) in Ireland is available to selected individuals. Program fees, airfare, housing, and living expenses are all covered.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Identify yourself as a citizen of one of the following nations: Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Eritrea, Eswatini, or Zimbabwe.
- Depending on the nation, have at least two to three years of appropriate professional experience (details on Page 8).
- possess a bachelor’s degree from a university that has been accredited and recognized by the government, obtained in 2012 or later, and given with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (corresponding to a first-class or upper second-class honours).
- not be enrolled in, or scheduled to begin, a master’s degree program in 2024–2025; none of these qualifications will be held at this time.
- By August 2024, at the latest, a new master’s program in Ireland should be launched.
- Showcase aspirations and leadership qualities, a commitment to promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in their own country, and a commitment to cultivating goodwill with Ireland.
