Eligibility Criteria:
- International students from various, underrepresented socioeconomic backgrounds—both global and socioeconomic—who have surmounted hurdles are given preference.
- For grades 9 through 12, a minimum GPA of 3.8 on a 4.0 scale (or the top 10% of the graduating class) is required.
- should have a dedication to community service, leadership, volunteering, and meeting the concerns of their own nation.
- Students enrolled in secondary or high school who will graduate before June 2025 will also be given preference.
- For the AU Scholarship 2025, applicants must fulfil one of the following English proficiency requirements:
- 95+ TOEFL iBT (with 20+ subscores overall)
- On paper, the TOEFL score of 24+ (taken after May 31, 2017)
- IELTS 7.0+ (with all subscores at 6.0+)
- SAT reading subscore: 33+ · 29+ PTE 125+ Duolingo + ACT English 65+ (all subscores 115+)
- A full IB diploma with at least three HL subjects is what students should receive at graduation (IB system).
- by August 2025, after at least three A levels and thirteen years of education (British A Levels system).
