The Commonwealth Secretariat has opened applications for the Commonwealth Innovative Youth Essay Award 2024. With the slogan “Think Trade, Think Green,” the competition seeks to investigate the nuanced relationship that exists between commerce and climate change.
We are inviting young scholars and students from Commonwealth nations, ages 18 to 29, to express their perspectives on this important subject: How may trade and trade policy help your country address a part of its climate crisis? The competition provides a cash prize of £1,000 to the winner in first place and £500 to the winners in second and third place.
Essays must be sent by email to the applicants. Below are specifics regarding the essay’s topic, prerequisites, and submission procedure.
