DAAD MIPLC Scholarship in Germany For Developing Countries (Fully Funded) 2025

African students interested in studying a postgraduate degree in Munich, Germany can now apply for the 2025 DAAD MIPLC Scholarship. The DAAD MIPLC Scholarship offers a stipend of €11,208 annually and covers full tuition fees. It is fully sponsored by the DAAD Foundation. A two-month free German language course is also given to awarded students, along with stipends for travel, research, and study. The Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC) grants DAAD Scholarships to students from underdeveloped countries through the DAAD’s “Development-Related Postgraduate Courses” program. These scholarships support foreign graduates with at least two years of professional experience in pursuing postgraduate or Master’s degrees, and in exceptional situations, doctoral degrees at German universities. The initiative aims to create skills and international linkages for sustainable development in their native countries.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • As stated in the OECD DAC list, you are a citizen of a developing nation and have not resided outside of it for longer than two years.
  • You have completed a four-year Bachelor’s degree with above-average performance, or a three-year Bachelor’s degree with an additional degree.
  • No more than six years have passed since you earned your most recent degree before applying.
  • You have worked as a full-time professional for at least two years in a developing nation for a state, a private enterprise, or a public authority. If the experience is finished by February of the year you begin your studies at MIPLC, this need can be satisfied.
  • Academics and personnel at scientific universities are not the primary target group and are only taken into consideration in extraordinary cases
