Kane Leads Bayern to 9-2 Victory Over Dinamo Zagreb with Four Goals

In a commanding Champions League match on Tuesday, Bayern Munich defeated Dinamo Zagreb 9-2. It was an incredible effort. Harry Kane was outstanding in the game, breaking several records and scoring four goals.

In the 19th minute, Kane scored the first goal of the game with his first of three successful penalty penalties. With this goal, Kane broke Wayne Rooney’s record for the most goals scored by an English player in the European Cup, totaling 33 goals in total. The striker, who had just scored three goals in a single European Cup encounter, made history once more after becoming the first player to score three goals on penalties in the Bundesliga.

After a season without a title, Bayern was keen to make an impression. Raphael Guerreiro and Michael Olise added to their lead before halftime. Dinamo Zagreb mounted a short comeback, scoring twice through Bruno Petkovic and Takuya Ogiwara in the first few minutes of the second half, but Bayern reclaimed control fast. The win was ensured by late goals from Leon Goretzka and Leroy Sane in addition to Kane’s ongoing mastery.

With this victory, Bayern’s 152nd participation in the tournament saw Thomas Müller break Xavi’s record of the most games played with a single club at Barcelona. It also represented the second-largest winning margin in Champions League history.
