The Treasury Summer Internship is a preparatory program for individuals who want to work as junior analysts. Following their internship, interns could get an opportunity to work as Junior Analysts for a Treasury team for two years, starting right after graduation.

The Treasury consists of four key departments:

  • Capital Markets & Investments
  • Treasury Operations, and Pension & Endowments

Eligibility Criteria:

  • All nationalities are welcome to apply for the internship.
  • Either the fourth year of a five-year program or the third year of a four-year program should be your current enrollment year.
  • Formal studies in finance are not required; your major should be in business, economics, finance, or a similar discipline.
  • Planning on graduating by September 2026 is a good idea.
  • Throughout the internship, you must be available to work full-time.
  • Make sure your application is accurate and truthful.

Benefits:

  • Non-citizens of the United States will be paid $21.30 per hour (net) for a maximum of 400 hours.
  • For a total of 400 hours, U.S. citizens will receive $26.00 per hour (gross).
  • Every intern will receive a laptop from the World Bank.
  • If an intern needs a visa in order to work in the US, the World Bank will sponsor it.
