The University of Edinburgh MasterCard Scholarships are intended for exceptional young people who have demonstrated a commitment to completing their education on campus, a strong academic background, and leadership qualities. This postgraduate on-campus scholarship is completely financed for one year and includes a laptop in addition to approved tuition fees, transport, housing, study materials, and a living stipend. This fellowship provides a range of sustainability-focused postgraduate opportunities at the University of Edinburgh, enabling young people to gain the knowledge, skills, and networks necessary to drive sustainable change.
Eligibility Criteria:
- In order to be admitted to a relevant degree program at the University of Edinburgh, applicants must fulfill the academic criteria, which are normally comparable to a UK Second Class (Upper) Bachelor’s (Hons) degree or above.
- The applicants’ educational obstacles must to have been substantial (social, economical, personal, practical, or health-related).
- Candidates must submit an authentic transcript and degree certificate by December 7 and have graduated by September 2024.
- The candidates must reside in, be citizens of, or have refugee status in one of the countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Candidates ought to exhibit community service and leadership.
