International applicants from all around the world can now apply for the fully funded World Press Institute (WPI) Fellowship 2025 in the USA. Participants in this program have the opportunity to study American politics, media, culture, and current affairs. Enhancing journalism competence, encouraging the open exchange of ideas, and broadening knowledge and abilities to broaden professional horizons are the main objectives of the WPI Fellowship. Fellows will learn about current affairs, media issues, social, political, and economic concerns, as well as American history. In addition, participants will tour prestigious media outlets in locations including San Francisco, Chicago, New York City, and Washington, D.C., and share their experiences. Eligibility Criteria :
- All nationalities are welcome to apply.
- Candidates must not be citizens of the United States.
- At least five years of experience in journalism, excluding student work, in print, broadcast, or online media.
- Positions in photojournalism, cartooning, writing, production, and news/editorial are all eligible. Supervisors who have worked in journalism for at least five years are also qualified.
- English proficiency and leadership ability are required.
