Western University is thrilled to announce that it is accepting applications for the Canada National Scholarship program from both domestic and foreign students. The Canada National Undergraduate Scholarship supports outstanding students during their undergraduate studies by offering a full funding package of up to $100,000. The goal of the Western University National Scholarships is to recognize exceptional performance in a variety of areas.
These scholarships are given out in recognition of exceptional academic achievement and are intended for applicants who have a strong desire to study and who think creatively and innovatively. Additionally, the National Scholarships aim to recognize outstanding accomplishments in extracurricular pursuits, such as sports and the arts.
Eligibility Criteria :
- must be a permanent resident, Canadian citizen, or international student.
- must have completed all Grade 12U/M courses with a minimum overall academic average of 90% (or equivalent).
- To be eligible for these scholarships, a full-time student must enroll at Western University (main campus) and submit an admission application.
- Additionally eligible for consideration are students enrolled in CEGEP and the International Baccalaureate program.

- For four years, a single $80,000 grant will be given out as $20,000 per academic year.

- One $70,000 award ($15,000 per year for years two through four, and $25,000 for the first year).
- Four $65,000 prizes ($15,000 a year for years two through four, and $20,000 for the first year).
- up to 15 $50,000 awards ($10,000 a year for years two through four, and $20,000 for the first year).
- Black Students’ James Jenkins President’s Entrance Scholarship
- Five $50,000 awards ($10,000 a year for years two through four, and $20,000 for the first year).
