The University of Debrecen Hungarian Scholarships 2025–2026 in Hungary are now accepting applications. The University of Debrecen is inviting international students from all over the world to apply for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarships. Students who want to pursue an undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral degree can apply for this award. Five thousand fully financed scholarships are available to students worldwide from the Hungarian government. The Stipendium Hungaricum program at the University of Debrecen offers a broad range of academic specialties and degrees. For four years for bachelor’s degrees, two years for master’s degrees, and three years for doctoral degrees, the scholarship will pay for all costs.

Eligibility Criteria:
- International Student Eligibility: The University of Debrecen Hungarian Scholarships are open to students of any nationality.
- All applicants must be in good physical and mental health in order to complete their coursework and fulfill the requirements of the program.
- Applicants for Bachelor’s Degrees: Candidates must have finished their secondary education and have a current school certificate in order to apply for a bachelor’s degree.
- Candidates for master’s degrees must have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an undergraduate program in a related discipline.
- Candidates for PhD degrees must already hold a master’s degree in a relevant field in order to be eligible to apply for a PhD.
- Language Requirements: Applying for the University of Debrecen Hungarian Scholarships does not require an IELTS or TOEFL language certificate.

- Complete Tuition: The scholarship ensures that students do not have to pay for their education by covering the full cost of tuition for the length of the degree program.
- Monthly Allowance: To assist with living expenses throughout the study period, a stipend of 43,700 HUF will be given each month.
- Accommodations: There is free housing available on campus. A housing allowance of 40,000 HUF per month will be provided for off-campus living for the duration of the calendar year in the event that on-campus housing is completely reserved.
- Medical Insurance: To guarantee that students have access to healthcare while studying in Hungary, the scholarship comes with full medical insurance.
- Flight Travel Support: To pay for travel expenses to Hungary, round-trip flight tickets may be supported. The sending authority of the student’s home country will determine whether or not this financial assistance is required.
