Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must be employed in an academic institution in an open-ended role or have suitable work experience and professional credentials.
  • The University of Edinburgh shouldn’t serve as their base.
  • Individuals from underrepresented minorities or those from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) are given preference inside the Futures Institute.
  • Fellows must be actively working on topics that are related to the main areas of research at the Futures Institute.
  • Candidates should be leaders or experts in initiatives related to the Institute’s research topics, and their visit should help them further their work.
  • We especially encourage those who want to develop a grant proposal to apply, especially if the visit will aid in the preparation of the submission.
