KNB Indonesian Government Scholarship 2025-26 Indonesia (Fully Funded)

The KNB Indonesian Government Scholarship 2025–2026 in Indonesia is now accepting applications. Applications are encouraged from international students worldwide who want to study in Indonesia for free on fully financed scholarships. For students worldwide, the Republic of Indonesia’s Ministry of Education and Culture has introduced the Kemitraan Negara Berkembang (KNB) Scholarship. This scholarship is offered for the 2025–2026 school year. The Government of Indonesia will pay for all KNB Indonesia Scholarship costs, enabling students to study overseas in Indonesia.

Bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in a range of subjects, such as the humanities, engineering, science, education, and social sciences, are eligible for the award. All majors and academic fields are eligible for the KNB Scholarship.The master’s degree scholarship lasts for 24 months (4 semesters), whereas the bachelor’s degree scholarship lasts for 8 semesters.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must be younger than 35.
  • Applicants with a master’s degree are not eligible; only those with a bachelor’s degree are.
  • It is necessary to have an IELTS score of 6.0, a TOEFL score of 80, or an equivalent score from another approved English proficiency exam.
  • All applicants must fill out the online application.
  • Before leaving for Indonesia, successful applicants must sign a statement letter and scholarship agreement that have been produced by the KNB Scholarship administration.

Benefits:

  • Upon arriving in Indonesia, new students will get a settlement payment of IDR 1,500,000.
  • New students will receive a monthly allowance that covers living expenses and book allowances while enrolled in the Indonesian language course and preparatory programs.
  • KNB students will receive a monthly stipend during the academic program that covers living expenses in addition to book and research allowances.
  • There will be health insurance available, with a monthly premium cap of IDR 400,000. The student will be liable for the difference in medical expenses beyond insurance coverage.
  • From the student’s home country to Indonesia, a round-trip international flight (economy class) will be covered, along with local transportation to the host university.
