African Master’s and PhD researchers are supported by the Nordic Africa Institute (NAI) Scholarship Program, which gives them the chance to further their current studies at the institute. Living expenses, settling-in benefits, and travel expenditures are all covered by this scholarship.
In order to create an engaging learning environment, awardees are given a workspace with a personal computer as well as access to the institute’s library and research materials. The program’s objectives are to foster cooperation between the Nordic and African research communities and to increase research capacity on Africa.
Eligibility Criteria :
- full-time employees of a research institution or university in Africa who are pursuing a PhD degree there without being eligible for an international scholarship.
- postdoctoral researchers who have finished their doctoral studies in the last five years.
- All citizens of Africa are welcome.
- Candidates must be connected to research institutes or universities in Iceland, Denmark, Finland, or Sweden.
