After four months of study and reporting skills development at MIT’s Center for International Studies, fellows will intern for two months at The New York Times in New York City. The program covers housing, transportation assistance, flights, and a stipend.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Women and non-binary journalists are eligible for the Neuffer Fellowship, particularly those who report on social justice and human rights concerns.
- Journalists are welcome to apply from any nation in the world.
- Candidates must have worked as professional journalists full-time for at least three years.
- University-related journalism work and internships do not count toward the necessary experience.
- Fellows are required to dedicate themselves to finishing the entire six-month program.
